Tin bronze bronze bushings:

Advantages: tin bronze with tin as the main alloying element, with high wear resistance. Its crystallization temperature range is large, casting is easy to form scattered microscopic shrinkage holes, but the ability to fill the casting model cavity is high, and can be obtained in line with the casting mold inner type of castings. Tin bronze in the atmosphere, seawater, fresh water and steam is very corrosion-resistant, widely used in steam boilers and sea-going ship parts, etc. for wear resistance and corrosion resistance requirements of high occasions. After appropriate processing and treatment, it has higher hardness and can withstand greater friction and wear, and is suitable for the manufacture of wear-resistant parts working under high loads and high sliding speeds, such as connecting rods, bushings, axle tiles, gears, worm wheels and so on.

Disadvantages: the price of tin is more expensive, which increases the cost of tin bronze bronze bushings to some extent.

Aluminum bronze bronze bushings:

Advantages: aluminum bronze has aluminum as the main alloying element, which has high strength and good wear resistance. Its strength is higher than tin bronze, can be strengthened by heat treatment, and resistance to high-temperature oxidation is also better. Containing iron and manganese elements of aluminum bronze, belonging to the high-strength heat-resistant bronze, commonly used in the manufacture of high strength screws, nuts, copper bushings, sealing rings and other wear-resistant parts. Aluminum bronze price is relatively moderate, has a high cost-effective.

Disadvantages: aluminum bronze casting performance is relatively poor, in the casting process requires high technical and technological requirements, otherwise it is easy to produce defects.

Brass bronze bushings:

Advantages: brass is a copper-zinc alloy with good casting performance and cutting performance, good corrosion resistance in the atmosphere and fresh water. Its high hardness, wear resistance is better, the internal organization is more compact, and has good lubricating properties and self-lubricating properties, in the absence of lubricant conditions can also have a certain degree of wear resistance performance. The cost of brass is relatively low, the price is cheaper, is a more affordable copper bush material.

Disadvantages: compared with tin bronze and aluminum bronze, the wear resistance and strength of brass is relatively low, in the high load and high friction working conditions, its wear rate may be faster, the service life is relatively short.

Beryllium bronze bronze bushings:

Advantages: beryllium bronze is an extremely versatile precipitation hardening alloy, after solid solution and aging treatment, the strength can reach 1250-1500MPa, with high hardness, strength and good wear resistance, high fatigue strength, small elastic hysteresis, stable elasticity at temperature changes, and small sensitivity of performance to aging temperature changes. It also has the characteristics of non-sparking, which is suitable for some occasions with high safety requirements.

Disadvantages: the price of beryllium bronze is high, and beryllium element has a certain degree of toxicity, in the production and processing need to take special protective measures, which increases the cost and difficulty of its production and use.
