Decrease in equipment accuracy
Copper bushings play a supporting and positioning role in many mechanical structures. For example, in the spindle system of the machine tool, broken copper bushing will make the spindle rotation accuracy affected. In the case of high-precision machining equipment, it will result in the dimensional accuracy and surface roughness of the machined workpiece failing to meet the requirements, affecting product quality.
Increase friction and wear
After the copper bushing is broken, the flatness and finish of its surface decreases. In the relative movement with the matching parts (such as shafts), the coefficient of friction will increase. This not only accelerates the wear of the copper bushing itself, but also causes excessive wear to the parts with which it is matched. For example, if the copper bushing of the rocker shaft of an automobile engine is broken, it will increase the wear of the rocker shaft and shorten the service life of the part.

Generate abnormal noise and vibration
Due to the uneven surface of the broken copper bushing, in the process of equipment operation, the relative movement of the parts will produce irregular collision and friction. This situation will lead to abnormal noise and vibration of the equipment. Taking the motor as an example, a broken copper bushing on the motor shaft may cause the motor to emit an ear-splitting sound during operation and be accompanied by obvious vibration, affecting the normal operation of the equipment and the working environment.
Equipment jamming or malfunctioning
In some cases, fragments from broken copper bushings may enter other critical parts of the equipment, causing seizing between components. Or due to serious deformation of the copper bushing, so that the mating parts can not move normally, resulting in equipment failure. For example, in a piston pump of a hydraulic system, a damaged copper bushing may block the movement of the piston, which ultimately prevents the pump from working properly and affects the operation of the entire hydraulic system.
