Pulley shaft area
The pulley block of a crane plays a key role in the lifting and luffing process. The installation of copper bushings on the pulley shaft can reduce the friction between the pulley shaft and the pulley seat. For example, in the hoisting pulley set of harbor crane, when the wire rope carries the pulley to rotate, the copper sleeve can make the pulley shaft rotate smoothly to ensure the smooth lifting and lowering of the heavy load.
Slewing support part
For cranes with slewing function, such as tower cranes and truck cranes, the slewing bearing is an important part. Between the inner and outer rings of the slewing bearing, some designs use copper bushings to reduce friction, so that the upper structure of the crane can flexibly rotate relative to the lower structure, which is convenient for the crane to operate in different directions.

Crane boom connection part
During telescoping or luffing of the crane boom, there is relative movement at the joints. Installation of bronze bushings in these joints can provide good support and smooth movement conditions for the movement of the crane arm. Take crawler cranes as an example, the copper bushings at the hinge points of the crane arm and the turntable help the crane arm to swing and telescope flexibly.
Traveling wheel axle part
For a crawler crane, the traveling wheel runs on the track. The copper bushing on the traveling wheel axle can reduce the friction between the axle and the frame, so that the crane can move smoothly on the track. In the traveling mechanism of the gantry crane, the copper bushing of the traveling wheel axle can buffer the impact force generated during the starting, stopping and running of the crane.
