The lubrication intervals for the external copper bushing of a crusher depend on a number of factors, generally speaking, the approximate ranges are as follows:
Crushers in continuous operation
For crushers with high work intensity and harsh operating environments (e.g., high dust, high temperature, high humidity, etc.), the lubrication cycle of the outer copper bushing may be shorter, approximately every 8-24 hours for lubrication inspection and replenishment. In this case, the lubrication status needs to be closely monitored, as the harsh environment can accelerate lubricant loss and contamination.
For example, in a large mine crushing operation where the crusher is running continuously and the ore is dusty, it may be necessary to check the lubrication of the copper bushing every 12-16 hours and add lubricant as needed.
If the crusher is operating in a high temperature environment, the performance of the lubricant will be affected and more frequent lubrication may be required, approximately every 8-12 hours.
For crushers with moderate work intensity and good operating conditions, the lubrication interval can be extended to approximately every 24-72 hours.
For example, in some medium-sized stone processing plant, the working intensity of the crusher is relatively small, and the environment is relatively clean, the lubrication period of the copper bushing can be set to check every 36-48 hours.
Intermittent operation of the crusher
If the crusher is operated intermittently, with shorter running time and longer intervals, the lubrication period can be determined according to the actual running time and intervals. Generally speaking, it is more appropriate to conduct lubrication inspection and maintenance once every 20-50 hours of operation.
For example, a crusher on a small construction site may run for only a few hours a day and then shut down for a period of time. In this case, the copper bushings can be lubricated every 30-40 hours of operation.
For crushers that are used occasionally, the lubrication intervals can be longer, but the condition of the lubricant needs to be checked periodically. For example, a lubrication check every 50-100 hours of operation, or complete lubrication maintenance every 1-2 months.
It should be noted that the above lubrication intervals are for reference only, and the actual lubrication intervals should be adjusted according to the specific model of the crusher, the instruction manual, the working environment, the type of lubricant, and the actual operating conditions. At the same time, when carrying out lubrication maintenance, make sure to use the appropriate lubricant, and add and replace it according to the correct method, so as to ensure the good lubrication and normal operation of the copper bushing.
