Wear of the outer cone of the eccentric bronze bushing: some manufacturers stipulate that the outer cone of the eccentric bushing should be considered for replacement if it is worn out by more than 3mm; there is also a view that the wear of the eccentric bushing of a cone crusher exceeding 6mm can be judged to have reached the standard of obsolescence, but this is not absolute.

Changes in clearance: If the clearance between the eccentric bronze bushing and related parts (such as the main shaft) is more than double the original assembly clearance, it usually means that the eccentric bronze bushing is worn to a more serious extent and needs to be replaced. For example, if the original design clearance is 0.1 – 0.2 millimeters, when the clearance increases to 0.2 – 0.4 millimeters and above, it may need to be replaced.
In actual use, in addition to these general wear limit standards, it is also necessary to take into account the operating conditions of the crusher, the condition of the lubricating oil (whether there are problems of overheating, impurities, etc.), and the productivity of the equipment to determine whether the eccentric bronze bushing needs to be replaced. If the crusher has abnormal vibration, increased noise, and decreased productivity, the eccentric bronze bushing may need to be inspected and replaced even if it has not yet reached the above limit values.
