Copper alloy is often used for crusher parts because it has a series of excellent properties suitable for crusher working conditions, and can meet the needs of parts under high load, high wear and complex working conditions. Specific reasons are as follows:
Excellent wear resistance
The operating environment of a crusher usually involves high friction and strong impacts, and the fittings are subjected to high wear pressures when the equipment is in operation. Copper alloys, especially bronze and brass, have excellent wear resistance, which effectively reduces wear and prolongs the service life of the parts. The metal components in copper alloys such as tin, lead and zinc can increase the wear resistance of the material and reduce the coefficient of friction.

There is a wide variety of copper alloys, which can be adjusted by adjusting the alloy composition (e.g., adjusting the content of tin, lead, zinc, aluminum, etc.) to meet different application environments and mechanical requirements. For example, tin bronze is extremely wear-resistant, aluminum bronze has good strength and corrosion resistance, and lead bronze has excellent self-lubricating properties.
